Use this form if you were named in a notice published in The Gazette — as an executor, an administrator, a solicitor, or the person who placed it — and you want us to do something about the copy we hold.
What we will do. We will reply within one month. We may need to check who you are first, so that we do not act on a request made by somebody else about you.
What we cannot do. We cannot remove the notice from The Gazette itself — they publish it under a legal requirement and we have no control over it. Contact them at thegazette.co.uk/contact-us.
We store your name, your email address and what you tell us, so that we can answer you and keep a record that we did. We keep that record after we have finished, because it is what stops the information you asked us to remove being collected again the next time we read The Gazette. We do not use any of it for anything else, and we do not store your IP address.
If you are unhappy with how we handle this, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
